Beginning mid-June Kauai Lagoons will begin the long-awaited transformation of the Kiele Ocean 9 holes. Jack Nicklaus is overseeing the project and in addition to all new putting surfaces and upgraded bunkering, three new golf holes will be added. One a new ocean hole which will create an amazing ½ mile stretch of ocean front golf and provide the centerpiece for what can arguably be the best finishing nine in the islands. Re-opening date is set for May, 2011. Kauai Lagoons will continue to offer 18 great holes of Jack Nicklaus designed golf during this transformation period.
